Picatinny Ring Mount | 40 mm | Quick Release

This fitting is anodized. Anodizing creates a protective oxide layer on the aluminum surface, which provides good corrosion protection and a durable finish. Anodized products can withstand daily use and are resistant to scratches and wear.

Hard anodizing (Type III) provides a thicker and harder layer than standard anodizing and is typically used on products exposed to particularly heavy wear.

Installation is simple. The QR base is attached to the Picatinny rail, and the scope is placed in the lower ring halves, after which the upper halves are tightened.

Manufacturer's recommendation:
• Tightening torque for ring screws (top, M3.5): 1.8–2.0 Nm
• Tightening torque for rail attachment (M4): 2.0–2.5 Nm
• Ensure the scope is level and has correct eye relief before final tightening

A torque wrench is necessary for proper installation. Overtightening can damage the scope tube.

This mount is made from 7075-T6 aluminum – the same alloy used in military equipment, aircraft construction, and high-end climbing gear. 7075-T6 has a strength-to-weight ratio almost twice that of steel, and is the preferred material for many professional shooters.

For the vast majority of hunters and shooters, 7075-T6 aluminum is at least as good as steel. The material is lighter, does not corrode, and will withstand decades of use under normal conditions.

The mounting height of rings is typically specified as BH (Base Height) — measured from the top of the picatinny rail to the bottom of the scope tube (the saddle).

This mount has a fixed mounting height of 4.5 mm (BH).

Rule of thumb: Choose the lowest ring height that still provides clear passage between the scope's objective lens and the barrel. A lower mount provides better balance and a more natural sight picture.

These rings have an internal diameter of 40 mm and are suitable for scopes with 40 mm tubes.

Always check your scope's tube diameter before purchasing – it can be found in the scope's specifications or easily measured with a caliper.
